One Fish, Two Fish

Materials:
- Page Protector (one for each child)
- Colored Tissue Paper
- Mod Podge
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Permanent Markers
- Fish Tracer
- Googly eyes (optiona;)

Premake fish tracer and tape behind a page protector. Cut along two sealed  sides so that it opens like a book.
Bottom Layer- 8 1/2" x 11" paper with Fish Tracer
Second Layer- Back of Page Protector
Top Layer (flipped open)- Top of Page Protector

Pass out fish tracers pretaped onto page protectors that are precut.

Ask students to trace fish with permanent marker. It does not matter if they do the top page or the inside page.

Choosing one color, mod podge tissue paper squares inside fish shape.

I precut tissue paper, one for each "fish" (Ex. One fish- yellow, Two fish- green, Red fish- red, Blue fish- blue) and placed in labeled baggies.

Fold top page back over. There should be enough mod podge where it will glue together. If not, paint another thin layer of mod podge on top of tissue paper before sealing.

Peel off paper fish tracer and cut around the lines. Add mouth, fins, gills or scales. Label which "fish" you created and add a googly eye!
